Swiss 4000m Peaks.

Course Summary

There are a large variety of Swiss 4000m Peaks that can be climbed during this week, from technically straight forward glacial peaks to more technical rocky ridges and steep snow and ice faces.  This is a week spent climbing as many of the Swiss 4,000m Peaks as time, the weather and conditions allow.

Course Content

The first day will be spent & acclimatising and often includes guided ascents of gems such as the Weissmies, Lagginhorn, Strallhorn, Alphubel, Dom, Nadelhorn, Castor, Pollux, Breithorn, Monte Rosa etc.

Experience / Fitness / Ability

This course is suitable for anyone with some hill walking experience and instruction will be provided as necessary as the week progresses.

Course Location 

For the Swiss 4000m Peaks course there are two attractive Alpine valley bases Saas Grund and Zermatt surrounded by an excellent range of classic peaks of all levels of difficulty. Peaks such as the Weissmies, Lagginhorn, Strallhorn, Allalinhorn, Rimfishhorn, Alphubel, Dom, Nadelhorn, Obergabelhorn, Castor, Pollux, Breithorn, Monte Rosa etc.
